- The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested suspects during Eagle Flush Operation in Lagos on December 19, 2024, targeting cryptocurrency, investment, romance fraud, and recruiting Nigerian youths.
- At the resumed hearing, Bridget Omateno said Huang Haoyu and An Hongxu changed their pleas to guilty on a seven-count charge involving N3,407,824,740.78 and $2,562,203.
- The judge ordered forfeiture of assets recovered from Victoria Island and Ikoyi to the Federal Government and directed three days of community service plus repatriation after sentencing.
- Proceedings continue concerning Friday Audu, who maintains his innocence, with recovered inventory including 25 million SIM cards from four properties.
