A home was badly damaged and two cats are missing following a house fire on East Seventh Street Wednesday afternoon. The call came in about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers, who tells WHOP that the caller reported seeing smoke in the area near East Seventh and Thompson Street. Two Cats Missing, Home Damaged In Hopkinsville Fire
A home on East 7th Street in Hopkinsville was damaged in a fire on Wednesday afternoon. Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for a fire on the porch with a power line down. The fire quickly spread to the rest of the home causing extensive damage to the structure. No one was injured in the fire but two cats have not been located. The home is located near East 2nd Street.
