Two brothers killed in Israeli drone strike on Gaza
Two boys aged 10 and 12 died after an Israeli drone strike near a shelter during a fragile ceasefire; over 350 Palestinians have been killed since October 10, Gaza health officials said.
- On Nov 29, an Israeli drone attack killed two children in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian health authorities and families said.
- Beyond the ceasefire's Yellow Line, the Israel Defense Forces said troops "identified two suspects... posing an immediate threat" and "eliminated the suspects" despite the fragile ceasefire from October 10.
- Mohamed Abu Assi said, `They are children...what did they do? They do not have missiles or bombs, they went to gather wood for their father so he can start a fire` as their funeral took place.
- Hamas called mediators to pressure Israel over ceasefire violations after the deaths, and the Israeli military said it was investigating without immediate comment.
- Since the ceasefire on October 10, at least 354 Palestinians have been killed, while the health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza reports over 70,000 killed since the war began more than two years ago.
