Alabama couple arrested for allegedly burning children with blowtorch

An Alabama couple was arrested Thursday after authorities said they used a blowtorch to give three children severe burns.Ashleigh Ableman, 27, and Howard Anderson, 53, both of Ariton in Dale County, were charged Thursday night with one count of torture/willful abuse of a child, Dale County jail records showed.

An Alabama couple is behind bars after deputies say they burned and abused three young children. According to the Dale County Sheriff's Office, investigators and the Department of Human Resources recently received reports of an abuse case involving three children under 12 in Ariton.
