- Fueled by Season 2’s viewership, Peacock said it tallied 993 million minutes viewed, ranking as the streamer’s second biggest returning scripted season with a 92 percent critic and 84 percent audience rating.
- Reed, a WGA-nominated writer and producer, has credits on The Boys and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and will executive produce alongside Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Anthony Mackie, and Will Arnett.
- The production will remain with Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions and Universal Television, and filming could begin early next year with Reed joining under an overall Sony deal.
- The adaptation draws on the PlayStation game franchise and is structured as a half-hour TV series, with Joe Seanoa physically playing Sweet Tooth and Will Arnett providing his voice.
