With the aviation industry on high oil prices due to the potential war between the U.S. and Iran, T'way Air, Korea's third-largest low-cost carrier (LCC), has decided to implement unpaid leave for its flight attendants. This appears to be due to deepening financial difficulties caused by high oil prices and a decline in passengers, despite the airline's aggressive expansion through long-haul routes to Europe.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - T'way Air (South Korea) is implementing a policy allowing flight attendants to voluntarily apply for unpaid leave, amid sharply rising operating costs due to soaring fuel prices.

The South Korean low-cost airline Tway Air plans to send parts of its cabin crew on unpaid holiday in May and June. This is reported by the newspaper "Joongang Ilbo". Therefore, only flight attendants who volunteer are affected.
