Carmen Nebel’s television farewell: “Everybody does rejoice”

Carmen Nebel and Christmas time always belonged together like mulled wine and speculaas. Now she has hosted her last show - tears included.

She has been on screen for over four decades - first on GDR television, then on ARD and ZDF. On Thursday evening, however, Carmen Nebel will probably say goodbye to the TV audience forever with the show “The Most Beautiful Christmas Hits”. An emotional moment not just for the 68-year-old.

Presenter Carmen Nebel appeared on stage for the last time on ZDF – a touching moment for her guests too. Andrea Berg even fought back tears.
