Yusuf Kıraç, President of the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), stated that Türkiye has become a country capable of independently building its own spacecraft, saying, "Turkey will be ready for its mission to become the sixth country to go to the Moon in 2026. Currently, both our spacecraft and our spacecraft navigation system are undergoing final tests. We will send our own atomic clock, or GPS, into space next year."
