Justice Minister Akin Gurlek says 207 people have faced action as authorities freeze assets and pursue allegedly illicit profits
Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced the latest figures regarding the fund investigation. Stating that proceedings have been initiated against 220 people and 85 suspects have been arrested as part of the investigation, Gürlek said, "It is important not to generalize an incident that occurred in a small part of this investigation to the whole group."
