New major investment will bring Swedish para hockey back to the top of the world
Until 2004, Sweden was a leading nation in para-hockey. Since then, the Swedish national team has fallen behind in the world rankings. Now, a new major initiative is to bring Swedish sledge hockey back into the spotlight. “If we invented this ourselves, we should be among the top,” says Fredrik Andersson, operations developer at the Swedish Para-Sports Association.
