The chairman of the Christian Democrats in the European Parliament on the occasion of the customs agreement between the EU and the USA is not "to celebrate" but he has been prevented from doing worse.

The leader of the European People's Party in the EU Parliament, Manfred Weber (CSU), attributes the disadvantageous tariff agreement with the US to Europe's military weakness.
