On June 26, the Religious Liberty Commission, established by President Trump last May, submitted a draft report to the Presidential Council. The report is based on testimony from 103 witnesses from diverse backgrounds at seven hearings, many of whom have experienced religious persecution in the United States. The commission also makes recommendations for protecting religious freedom.
