- Citing security concerns, the White House said certain chapters "engage in or facilitate and support violence and destabilization campaigns," citing alleged links to Hamas and rocket attacks by Lebanon's Muslim Brotherhood armed wing after Oct. 7, 2023, plus calls for violence from Jordanian Brotherhood leaders.
- The order requires a 30-day joint report from State and Treasury, directing Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to consult the Attorney General and DNI and act within 45 days if warranted.
