Tropical storm upgraded to Tropical Cyclone says Fiji's met service

Fiji's Meteorological Service has upgraded a Tropical low that's been hovering over Vanuatu to a Tropical Cyclone.

No direct threat to Fiji from TC Tam

Tropical Cyclone Tam forms near New Caledonia

The Nadi weather office has named TD11F as tropical cyclone Tam. The system is located 400km East of New Caledonia. It currently has sustained winds 78km/ph. TC Tam is moving South-South-East and is forecasted to weaken tomorrow into a subtropical system. The system will then move towarss  New Zealand waters.
