Tribute to Sir Ketumile Quett Joni Masire, a founder of Botswana, on his centennial birthday – The Mail & Guardian

Sir Ketumile Quett Joni Masire was born on 23 July 1925 in Kanye, Beuchanaland (now Botswana). In commemorating his centennial birthday we pay tribute to one of the founders of Botswana and framers of its Constitution.  He was the principal architect of its economic development as minister of finance and development planning.
