In October 2020 in Poissy, policeman Gilles G. killed a 28-year-old motorist, Olivio Gomes, after a shooting. The policeman claims to have acted in self-defence, a version rejected by the prosecution.
When questioned on Wednesday, Gilles G. maintained that he had fired on the 28-year-old man in self-defence, fearing for his life in front of the vehicle which, according to his version, was coming at him. However, he conceded that only one shot would have been enough. However, it was his second shot that was fatal.
On the fourth day of the hearing, on Wednesday 25 March, the former agent of the BAC in Paris, Gilles G., tried for the murder of the young man in October 2020, admitted that some of his shots were illegitimate.
