Tree in memory of Andy Whiston planted in Nipper Park

HANNIBAL, Mo. — A memorial tree was planted Nov. 7 in honor of Andy Whiston. The burr oak tree at Nipper Park was planted by members of the Tree Board, Parks & Recreation and friends and family of Whiston, who died July 11. A plaque with his name was placed in City Hall, along with other memorial tree honorees. Heritage Tree Donations can be made on the Hannibal Parks website for $250.
