The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), through the Banking, Securities and Savings Unit (UBVA), committed itself with the Multi-Objected Financial Companies (Sofomes) to remove the reference to “Unregulated Entity” from its denomination, a demand that the union has maintained since January 2023, when the Association of Sofomes (Asofom) presented proposals to reform its regulatory framework.
