Investigation into pre-Budget leaks is under way, MPs told
The inquiry follows leaks of major tax policies and an early release of the Office for Budget Responsibility’s forecast, leading to the watchdog chief’s resignation.

- The Chair of the Treasury Select Committee, Dame Meg Hillier MP, said: "Leak inquiries have a habit of not finding someone responsible.
