The former Prime Minister, until now head of RATP, has won 60 votes in favour out of 83 votes in the sustainable development committees of both assemblies this Wednesday.
The former Prime Minister obtained the green light of the National Assembly and the Senate.
The appointment of the former Prime Minister must now be approved in the Council of Ministers, and his appointment is expected to be effective in early November.
The hearing started this Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. In order for his appointment to be validated by Parliament, it is sufficient that the members of the committees of both chambers are less than three fifths to oppose it.
