Tragedy at the entrance to Košice: Unknown driver hits pedestrian and flees the scene

The fatal traffic accident occurred on Monday shortly before 2:00 a.m. on the I/20 state road at the entrance to Košice. "A still unknown driver, probably a truck, in the left lane hit a 26-year-old pedestrian who was probably crossing the road at the time," the Košice regional police reported on social media, adding that the driver fled the scene of the accident.
