FNV will aim for a wage increase of 5.5 percent plus 80 euros in the upcoming collective labor agreement year. The union has chosen to demand part of the wage increase in euros. "This ensures that the lowest incomes benefit more than the highest," explains FNV labor conditions coordinator Jacqie van Stigt.
The FNV trade union will present its wage demands for the new collective labour agreements this afternoon at 2:00 PM. The CNV already did so on Friday and is aiming for a wage increase of between 3 and 5.5 percent. The FNV is reportedly making a higher demand.
