Town of Banff to cut down fire-prone trees on municipal land that could pose wildfire threat to residential homes

The Town of Banff has spent about $1.4 million so far this year on wildfire mitigation work within the four square kilometre town boundary to cut and remove fire-prone trees like pine and spruce.
