Andreas Klöden made it to the podium of the Tour de France twice. After his career he retired from the German public. He also felt unfairly treated because of the permanent doping accusations, says Klöden – and thus breaks his long silence.
After Jan Ullrich, Andreas Klöden was the best German cycling professional at the Tour de France, was second in the overall standings twice during the Tour de France (2004 and 2006). He also accompanied the meanwhile 50-year-old during and after his active career years of doping accusations, to which he now spoke again for the first time after many years.
