Tortoise takes a Sunday stroll in South Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – If you were driving through the Elmwood area on Sunday, you might’ve done a double-take at an unusual sight—a large, friendly face slowly making its way down the road. The Abilene Police Department reported that a tortoise was found roaming near the 600 block of Lexington Avenue in South Abilene.
