Update: The tornado warning for DeKalb County is anticipated to expire at 5:30 p.m.
The warning had been issued for DeKalb County."The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 11 p.m. for northeastern Alabama," says the National Weather Service.
