GRAND FORKS — There were no major upsets on Day 1 of the North Dakota state girls individual tennis tournament at Choice Health and Fitness. The top seeds are through to Saturday's semifinal. Dickinson's Shayna Klitzke, the West Region's No. 1 singles seed, won a pair of matches in straight sets over Grand Forks Red River's Naomi Rahman and Valley City's Georgia Zaun to get to the semifinals.
