Italian Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) won stage 18 of the Tour of Spain in Valladolid. Joao Almeida (UAE Team Emirates - XRG) closed the gap on overall leader Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma | Lease a Bike).
The 18th stage of the Vuelta, held in the former hometown of Karl Jakob Hein and Jaan Puidet, was won by Italian Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers). Significant developments also occurred in the general classification, as second-placed Joao Almeida (UAE Team Emirates – XRG) closed the gap on Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma – Lease a Bike).
