Tom Kepler, multitalented lifelong Evanstonian, dies at 54

Tom Kepler, 54, art director, graphic and book designer, typesetting expert, dog whisperer, and talented artist and musician, died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep at home in southwest Evanston in the early morning of March 12. His death appears to have been quick and without distress. Thomas Alan Kepler was born April 6, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, to Jim, a writer, and Ann, an editor.
