Toll hike on poorly maintained Theni-Kumily stretch irks road-users

The hike in the toll collected at the plaza on Theni-Kumily National Highway (183) stretch from Wednesday (April 1) has irked road-users. The road-users in Upparpatti, Lower Camp and Theni, who used the road frequently, said authorities completed the work on one side of the stretch and opened it to public on October 1, 2022, and after about two months, the other side of the stretch was also thrown open.
