To the editor: Safety or harassment in Bryan?

Most have heard about the issues between the city of Bryan and Dad’s Place Church. The city is framing it as a safety issue while the church sees it as a religious-freedom issue. All Christian churches are called to minister to the poor and homeless. That’s Christianity 101. So is the city really concerned about the safety of a few homeless people or is it harassing a church doing what it’s called by God to do?
