Rivian gets $6B loan approved for Georgia plant
Plans for what is projected to be Georgia's largest manufacturing plant are back on track. Federal officials announced that Rivian will resume construction of its EV manufacturing plant near Social Circle after securing a $6 billion loan from the federal government.
Volkswagen managers hope to be able to resolve the software problems in their own vehicles with the partnership with Rivian - and increase again. Further payments to Rivian are planned.
