Tip-Up Town USA winter festival gets started this week

Tip-Up Town USA, one of the state’s longest-running winter festivals, is taking place again this year around Houghton Lake, Michigan’s largest inland lake. Festivities begin on Thursday, Jan. 22, with the main events taking place Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24.
