Tinubu helped Buhari become president — Gowon, Bagudu

Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, has said that the late former President Muhammadu Buhari and President Bola Tinubu shared a political alliance that worked both ways, saying the support Buhari received from Tinubu helped him emerge as president, just as Buhari later "gave his full support" to ensure Tinubu succeeded him in office.
