Tigard officials urge bond for $150 million public safety building

The ceiling leaks in the women’s locker room at the Tigard Police Department, dripping on officers’ gear. The agency doesn’t have space to store all of its criminal evidence on site, so it rents public storage for overflow. And some walls in the 1980s facility are not soundproof, so officers have to keep it down or leave their desks when others are having sensitive conversations.
