Miguel López now has plenty of time for the planned corporate conversion: The Supervisory Board of Thyssenkrupp has extended its contract by five years.
Against the resistance of the employees, the Supervisory Board is waving the extension: the controversial Group CEO López is allowed to continue until May 2031. Competitor Arcelor stops the green steel. This could happen in Duisburg in the medium term as well.
