Three generations of Clare women, three identical birthdays

Layla Russell, a senior for Clare High School, is walking across the aisle today just like her mother, Amy Russell, did years before. When Layla graduates, she'll wear a ring with her birthstone on it, a sapphire, passed on from her late grandmother, Kim Crawford. While Layla and Amy will have a similar experience graduating, there's something almost identical between grandmother, mother, and daughter-- their birthday.
