Three 18-year-olds accused of shooting at Midcoast home, police say

Three 18-year-olds face felony charges for firing multiple rounds into occupied and newly purchased homes, with bail set at $10,000 each, police said.

  • On Jan. 13, Wiscasset Police responded to a report of three shots fired into a home on Old Sheepscot Road just after 5:30 p.m., and arrested Jacob McInnis Jr., Camden Larrabee, and Caleb Busby, all 18, who are held at Two Bridges Regional Jail on $10,000 bail each.
  • A Jan. 6 Alna shooting at a newly built Head Tide Hill Road home involved SIX rounds, and officials said the new homeowners had just closed and were moving in.
  • Three shots struck a Wiscasset home while a father and his juvenile son were inside, with one round shattering the outer storm door, penetrating the metal front door, and entering the living room less than 10 feet from them, Wiscasset Police said.
  • He faces one count of aggravated criminal mischief and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, both class C felonies, and is held on $1,500 cash bail at the Two Bridges Regional Jail.
  • Police said the investigation remains active as multiple agencies assist, including the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office, Damariscotta, Sabattus and Augusta police departments, and urged tips to 207-882-8203 or via Tip411 using keyword LTIP to 847411.
