Tens of thousands of reservists will be stationed across Israel, with some already announcing they won't report. While operations in Gaza will mainly be conducted by conscripts, reservists will be stationed there, too

The majority of the reservists are intended for IDF operations in Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank, where they will replace the regular soldiers who will participate in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. Among the options being considered by the cabinet for expanding operations in the Gaza Strip: evacuating the humanitarian zone in Muassi, which the army says has become a shelter for Hamas members.
