In the summer, the capital is filled with foreign tourists and beggars. The local police have approximately 8,000 people registered. Over 2,000 come to Bucharest in the summer, from all corners of the country. Each one has a story, real or invented, with which they hope to impress passersby. Some of them earn up to three thousand euros a month, but the sums almost entirely go to the leaders of the networks that exploit them.
