Thousands of Australians without power after tropical cyclone hits Northern Territory
About 19,000 homes and businesses lost power as Cyclone Fina brought destructive winds and heavy rain, damaging infrastructure including Royal Darwin Hospital, officials said.

- Emergency crews began damage assessments while authorities urged residents to avoid downed powerlines and not to sightsee, with Darwin International Airport reopening Sunday after precautionary closure.
- Despite intensification forecasts, authorities cautioned on November 23 that the cyclone's trajectory remains uncertain, with Fina may restrengthen to Category 4, according to BOM forecasts.
