Israeli investment giant Meitav's stock dives after large-scale cyberattack

Over the weekend, an attempt was made to hack into thousands of accounts of the securities trading company, by sending text messages containing a one-time verification code. Meitav Trade emphasized that access to customers' funds and accounts was not possible, but personal details of a few individual customers were leaked.
Meitav Trade has reported that an attempted intrusion was detected following an exposure of an external vendor's API. No damage was reported to customer funds or trading systems, but personal details of approximately 3,000 customers were exposed.
