Thousands of Serbs paid a tribute on Monday to former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic, who died on 27 August, at 84 years of age. "The butcher of the Balkans, he had been sentenced by international justice to life imprisonment for the crimes committed during the war in Bosnia," AFP reports.
