The Czech Republic reports its seventh outbreak of bird flu in commercial farming this year. The outbreak involves a duck farm run by Perena in Slibovice, Nymburk, where more than 11,000 birds are kept. The poultry cull is expected to begin on Thursday. The six farms affected so far this year have been in the Hradec Králové region, which is a few kilometers from Slibovice as the crow flies.
