This giant tornado devastated a small North Dakota town in 1911

The deadly tornado that hit Antler, North Dakota, on Aug. 20, 1911, was photographed by several people. Two of those killed were at the Manning Grove picnic area just outside of Antler. The storm uprooted the entire grove, leaving the dead and injured strewn about the grounds. A total of six cyclones struck Bottineau County.
