The Austrian winter sports resort of Sölden is introducing an alcohol ban in the town center starting December 1st. The measure, which extends not only to the town center but also to other busy areas in the well-known après-ski resort, is intended to bring "peace, safety, and quality of life," according to a statement on the municipality's website.
