Third Death in 44 Days at Texas ICE Detention Camp

- ICE arrested Victor Manuel Diaz in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Jan. 6 during Operation Metro Surge, and processed him as having a final removal order on Jan. 12 before detaining him.
- Contract security staff at Camp East Montana found Diaz unconscious in his room, and on-site medical staff with El Paso EMS pronounced him dead at 4:09 p.m. local time.
