Professor and paleontologist Martin Becker has sued William Paterson University (New Jersey, USA), where he lectured, for alleged negligence by the institution, which would have caused 200 380 million-year-old marine fossils to have ended up in a landfill in Nashville (Tennessee, USA).In June last year, Becker packed the fossils into 19 boxes.
