Is there a right to work in shorts in case of high heat? It is the debate that is shaking the city of Niort, where the garbagemen are angry after their direction. The latter refuses to wear the summer dress when it was allowed before. The workers even went on strike. Their representative denounces the temperatures that reach 50 degrees at the back of the truck.


While a peak of heat was recorded this week on a large part of France, half of the 80 agents of the waste collection service denounce a "systematic refusal" of their management regarding the wearing of summer clothes, allowed in the past and now prohibited.
