A massive hostel fire in Pszów (Silesian Voivodeship) in April of this year took a tragic toll. Five people died in the blaze. The District Prosecutor's Office in Wodzisław Śląski has discontinued the investigation. Experts determined that the fire was caused by oil igniting on a stove and attempts to extinguish it with water. It was impossible to determine which resident used water to extinguish the oil.
